This week I had the pleasure of visiting Mcclellanville, SC to photograph Teresa and Rustin of Bulls Bay Saltworks. I was greeted with hugs and coffee and sent off with an armful of fresh farm eggs, flowers and salt. These two are such a wealth of knowledge and kindness. I learned so much as I got to watch them go through a morning routine. Go check them out, and buy some salt! You won't regret it!
I was so excited to bike over the morning of Ashley and Ryan's wedding to take some pictures and be with my second family. It was the most beautiful and serene morning. Bare feet, breeze, napping, laughing, and sharing lunch together. Here are a few of the images that were developed; I can't wait to share more! Love to Ashley and Ryan!
A couple of weeks ago Melissa and I were asked to help model some textiles for an amazing Charleston based creative named, Harper Poe. She works with weavers and seamstress in other countries to develop her line, Proud Mary that consists of clothing, bags, goods, and much more! I got to know her through friends but also at a recent pop up held by the Farmbar to show off photographs and goods from a trip that Harper and Olivia recently took to Peru. Olivia's photographs made you feel like you were seeing color for the very first time and Harper's pieces made them feel like they were coming alive.
So as you can imagine how thrilled I was when Harper and Olivia asked me to be apart of the shoot for some new products! Check out the Proud Mary website and Olivia's photographs. They are both sure to bring on some inspiration.

My sweet friend Olivia Rae James photographed me and Blake at the Farmbar and it made it to the Charlie Magazine online Sunday feature! What a neat morning to have that emailed to you as a sweet reminder of friendship and love for another person.
